Mr Quek was appointed to the Board on 19 December 1988, and was re-elected as Director at the Company’s Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) held on 28 October 2021.

He was appointed as Chairman of the Board and the Company on 14 October 2022. He is also a member of the Remuneration Committee.

Mr Quek is the Chairman of GuoLine Capital Assets Limited, the ultimate holding company of the Company.

He is also the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Hong Leong Company (Malaysia) Berhad, a public company; Chairman of Hong Leong Assurance Berhad, a public company; and Chairman of the Council of Members of Hong Leong Bank Vietnam Limited.
