Seyi Shay originally known as Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua, is a Nigerian singer, actres and songwriter.
Her exposure to music started at a young age, influenced by her mother’s Christian beliefs and her father’s musical tastes, which included Afrobeat, highlife, and jazz. Seyi Shay grew up in a multicultural environment that enriched her musical tastes and talents.
However, Shay’s professional music career began in the music scene of the United Kingdom.
Born Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua, the Nigerian singer and songwriter has made a name for herself with her enthralling blend of Afrobeats and Afropop.
